youth program audition information

Auditions
Area music students are invited to audition for the Green Bay Symphony Youth Orchestras (GBSYO). Auditions take place in the Studio Arts Building on the UWGB Campus in front of a panel of music professionals. Students who audition could be placed in one of three groups that collectively make up the Green Bay Symphony Youth Orchestras.

GBSYO members study challenging and varied string literature while giving wind and percussion players the opportunity to play music that differs from the band experience. The students also regularly work with professional musicians and participate in unique educational and performance opportunities. Area college string players who have an interest in continuing their orchestral playing while attending school are invited to audition for the Youth Symphony.
