Annual Symphony Donation
The Friends give an annual donation to the Symphony, which is managed by the Ways and Means Committee. The results of some fund-raising activities also have been used to sponsor a Masterworks concert and one of the Symphony musicians.

Suppers at Symphony
Suppers at Symphony were created by the Friends to provide members and patrons of the Symphony with an educational and fun-filled evening before each Classics Series concert. This committee arranges for a pre-concert buffet dinner at the Weidner Center followed by a brief introduction to the evening's concert by the conductor, guest artist, or orchestra member. The responsibilities of this committee include mailing and reservations, site arrangements, caterer, guest speaker, and pre-dinner musical entertainment.

Scholarship
The Friends awards up to 12 scholarships each year to deserving 6-11th grade music students. Scholarships must be used for music lessons, music camp, or other musical activities. Members of the committee oversee the printing of letters and forms, mailings, and reviewing the completed applications. There are usually two yearly meetings: one in the fall for organization, and one in the spring to select winners from among the applications.

Endowment
The Friends Endowment Fund is administered by the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. The primary purpose of the fund is to provide money for scholarships to promising instrumental music students in the area. Money for this fund is raised through a direct mail campaign once a year. Committee responsibilities include development of solicitation letters and mailings.
