Original Art Auction
This Committee arranges with local artists to secure art work for a silent auction at one of the GBSO concerts at the Weidner Center. Responsibilities include picking up art work from artists, setting up the display at the Weidner Center on the day of the auction, and assisting with silent action activities that evening.

Bridge
This committee is responsible for organizing and running the Bridge Marathon and Couples Marathon, which are played throughout the year (except the summer) and culminates in a luncheon in May. Members recruit bridge players, develop and notify players of the rules and schedules for the Marathons, collect dues and scores, and plan the final luncheon. The bulk of the organizational work is completed during the summer and in April to plan the luncheon.

Gala
This elegant fundraising event is a black-tie dinner dance held each year to benefit the GBSO. The committee's responsibilities include decorations, site arrangements, silent and oral auctions, invitations and reservations, and other revenue enhancers. Committee members may volunteer to sell raffle tickets, secure auction items, design invitations and decorations, and assist with mailings.

Lunches/Events
This committee organizes and executes one major Friends fundraising event each year. Fundraising events often change from year to year and have included fashion shows, showcase homes, raffles, boutiques, and special dinners. This is an opportunity for creative fun.

Trips
The goal is to have two trips each year. This committee searches for interesting places to visit, makes the contact, schedules transportation and plans the day. Often, meals are included. A brochure is designed and mailed for the reservations. These trips are designed to both raise money and to acquaint others with the Green Bay Symphony and its programs.
